Breastfeeding, something so special, beautiful and biological, yet not always comes so naturally easy. Good news is that it's a skill and like with many other ones, it needs just a bit of practice, many attempts, time to master but most importantly it must come with lots and lots of loving, encouraging support.

 

I strongly advocate that lactation education should start during pregnancy already. It helps you avoid being trapped in the unanswered questions or lack of proper support straight after birth and long after it. Otherwise it becomes much easier to have you misled with myths, tales and having you feel pressured to stop altogether. Hence it's good to know what are the facts vs the myths before that journey begins.

 

Too many times sadly moms are not protected even in the medical settings. Remember, knowledge is power and it helps to be prepared beforehand to build your confidence.

 

No matter at what point of your journey you are finding yourself at I am here for you. I am so passionate about breastfeeding and I love making moms feel that they have the inner strength to persevere, to overcome the breastfeeding challenges, build relationship and give mom and those around her an insight into the huge benefits of breastfeeding, which is more than just simply food.
